Most of you know my pet Leopard Gecko Bella, and we just found out that maybe she is a mix between a normal colored leopard gecko and an afghan leopard gecko. All leopard geckos need the same care, so it doesn’t matter what type she is (just different colors). I looked at a picture of an Afghan, and then looked at a picture of Bella, and they look really similar! We think that maybe she is a mix between an Afghan, and a normal colored leopard gecko, because she is 7 inches long, and female afghan leopard geckos are supposed to be 5 inches long. She has all of the same colors, same tail colors, same 2 stripes on her back, and she has the same light brown/dark yellow body. The photo below is a picture for you to compare! The Afghan gecko and Bella do look really similar, although I can’t see the light brown stripes that the Afghan gecko has on Bella. Cool!
It is actually pretty easy to see the stripes in person, but it is harder in the picture. An Afghan Leopard Gecko is still a Leopard Gecko, it just has a little bit more pale colors.
How interesting! It’s neat to speculate on those kinds of things.
